Art Forges Beauty From Inner Fire

“Fire and Forge”, was created from a photograph of broken, rock slabs, at a construction site - embedded in mud.

The creation process began with curiosity - continued with experimentation with angles, distortion of lines, cropping variations . . . and concluded with color “wild-ing”.

When this version exploded its surprise in front of my eyes, my imagination saw a blacksmith at his fire creating a tool of great power and purpose.
