The “Jeweled Forest” is both warm and cold – as the time between summer and winter is.
Still – we climb up and down through that forest, as often as we can . . . searching for sapphires, emeralds, rubies and amethysts.
There's no reward in looking for diamonds now. They will fall, scattered on the ground soon enough – and sparkle in the snow.
The “Jeweled Forest’ is so named to heighten its worth . . as if its natural beauty is not valuable enough.
