“Hidden Cluster In The Garden” was developed from 5 layers - prior to applying a filter to highlight the lines. 34 versions of the foundation photo were created before selecting the one to layer and filter for this image.
The raw photo was taken in the Overland Park Arboretum – where each view seems more beautiful than the next.
Because I always think I know what I’m doing when composing a shot, I take extra shots coming and going from a scene. The truth is: it’s the scene I initially ignored that results in unexpected beauty.
That’ll teach me – and without fail, I’m always humbled to realize I’ve been taught.
